1. Who is this course for?

This course is specifically designed for non-native English-speaking commercial truck drivers in the United States—including those who speak Spanish, Hindi, Mandarin, Portuguese, French, or any other language. It supports all ESL (English as a Second Language) CDL drivers seeking to improve their English for safety, effective communication, and DOT compliance.

3. How are classes delivered?

All classes are delivered online via Zoom, making them accessible to drivers across the U.S. from any location.

2. Who is the instructor?

The course is taught by Pete Gilbert, a veteran ESL instructor with teaching experience dating back to 2008 and a former English school owner in China. Pete has taught several thousand ESL students.

5. How long is the course?

Each course runs for 26 weeks, with: One 60-minute live online class per week. 15–30 minutes of daily homework to reinforce learning.

6. What are the class size and pricing options?
  • 1-on-1 class: $3,250 + $75 materials fee=$3,325 (1-1)

  • 1-on-2 class: $2,600 + $75 materials fee=$5,350 ($2,675/per student (1-2))

  • 1-on-3 class: $1,950 + $75 materials fee=$6,075 ($2,025/per student (1-3))
    All class structures follow the same 26-week format.

7. Is there a materials fee?

Yes. Each student is charged a $75 electronic curriculum fee for access to the 26-week digital learning materials.

8. What happens if a student misses a class?

Missed classes are not refunded or rescheduled. The program is designed to maintain consistency and discipline, just like on the job.

9. Can companies enroll multiple drivers at once?

Yes! Trucking companies can enroll individual drivers or small groups (1-1, 1-2, 1-3). The program scales flexibly depending on the company’s needs.
